Happy Thanksgiving! This was the first Thanksgiving to ever be hosted by our family. It was also at our new house. We moved in on Monday (with a lot of help from Kevin's mom who stayed up half the night unpacking our kitchen), our guests arrived on Tuesday, we prepared food on Wednesday, and we ate our yummy turkey dinner on Thursday. I'm thankful that the first turkey I ever cooked turned out perfect. I'm also thankful for a sister and grandpa who helped prepare most of the side dishes and desserts. I'm even more thankful for a mother-in-law who flew into town to help us move (and left before the festivities began) so that Thanksgiving with my family could be enjoyable. These last two weeks have been very hectic! It is nice to finally relax.

Grandma Trudy and Grandpa Al really enjoyed seeing their great grandkids for the first time! Tyler enjoyed the new hot wheels they bought him!
Grandpa Keith even got some smiles out of Susie.
Somehow (without even trying) Susie smiled right on cue for this picture with Grandpa Al.
It was a lot of fun to have my family visit for the holiday!

Looks like you had a fun thanksgiving. I am glad you were able to get out of most of your boxes before you family arrived. thanks for posting some pictures! :)
It must have been so nice to have your family in your new home for Thanksgiving. Everyone looks great... especially your two smiling children!
Your new house looks great! I know it is such a pain moving in. That is so much fun that all your family got to come and celebrate with you. I love seeing family pictures.
