Is it a "girl thing" or just a difference in temperaments? Tyler was very solemn and serious as a baby...he rarely smiled, but he also rarely cried. Susie is overly dramatic to say the least. When she is up, she is up. And when she is down, is she ever down! Smiles and laughs are easy to get out of her.
But, if I step away for just a moment, she cries! I literally have to be within 1 foot of her if I am not holding her. Otherwise she gets very upset. This is on a good day. On bad days I basically have to hold her the entire time because she cries if I set her down at all. She only likes me...not even dad, unfortunately.
Of course, when I come to rescue her, she is all smiles again (usually). Notice the huge tears streaming down her face? Well, she perked up quickly when she saw me pull the camera out. I think she already understands that the camera means it is time to smile! Hmmmm...maybe I should just carry it around with me all day long!
P.S. Susie is 6 months old!

and she is 25 7/8 inches tall (50%).

What a cutie...when shes being happy of course it is easier to think this than when she is being sad and screaming. :) I love the picture with the tears coming down her cheeks and the smile. She looks so cute.
