Separation Anxiety

Our little Susie has the worst case of separation anxiety I've ever known a baby to have. She is in tears within half a second of me walking away from her. She is in my arms almost the entire time she is awake. And, if she is not in my arms, I am sitting right next to her. If I ever have to set her down (as shown in the above picture) she screams and screams. I try to only put her down in emergency situations. This picture was taken while I was making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for Tyler. I have learned to do most things with one hand, but there are some things that simply cannot be done with a baby in my arms. On a positive note, my arms are getting in great shape!

grandpa keith says,

If my faulty parental memory serves me correctly, I recall that one of my kids used to behave in a similar way, always wanting to be held. Cute photo, though. Babies have such a tough life!
