Mommy, I Have to Go Potty!

Well, we're not quite to that state yet. But, Tyler is well on his way to being potty trained. We tried once back in January, but gave up when he didn't even know that he had gone potty in his little potty chair. Back then he would turn around and look at his potty chair and say, "Look! Water, Mom!" This time he gets it. We are elated!


Starting on Sunday evening Tyler had one more leaky diaper. And in frustration, without even thinking, we decided to put him in underpants. He didn't ever go that evening. The next morning I decided to contunue our "potty training" and put him in his underpants again. He had 3 accidents, and has basically used the potty ever since then. He has stayed dry playing outside and at the park. He even used the bathroom at Panera Bread the other day because his friend also went to use the "potty". Wow, I never thought this day would come. So far, potty training Tyler has been almost effortless. I thought it would be a much bigger deal, especially after our first go-around. Hopefully things continue to go as smoothly as they have started.
