Our Friends

Since moving into our new house, Tyler and I have both been spoiled with good friends. There are 11 kids who are age 8 and under on our street and two moms are pregnant and expecting in the next few months. Every afternoon our court is filled with kids riding bikes and playing outside. Lucky for me, I have become very good friends with another mom on our street. And, lucky for Tyler, he gets along really well with her children Jakob (5) and Isabel (3). We love our neighbors! We spend most afternoons playing outside. I chat with my new friend, Brandi. And, Tyler and her kids and any other kids who happen to be outside at the time play, play, play. Yesterday, the kids pulled out a hula hoop. It was very entertaining to watch them attempt to hula hoop. I think everyone will enjoy watching Tyler attempt this new skill.

Happy Birthday Amy! Your birthday is always easy for me to remember because John and you share the same day. Actually, when John and I first met, and he told me that his birthday was on the June 5th, I remember saying, "That's my friend Amy's birthday!" It must be fun to share your day with your family. I am sure Tyler enjoyed whatever dessert you had. Wedding planning is going well. I can't believe that the big day is just over 2 months away. School is out on June 21st, so I hope to call you soon to catch you up on all that is happening, and I would love to chat and hear what you have been up to. Until then, blogging is fantastic for keeping in touch. Cute footage of Tyler and the neighbor kids, and Susie looks to be an adorable handful with how active she has become. Take care and love all your posts.
