Popcorn Popping

Hopefully my lag in blogging will soon come to an end (but don't get your hopes up!).  We finally have a new computer, so I can no longer use a malfunctioning computer as an excuse for my lack of blogging.  Tyler, Susie, and I belong to "Music Makers"--a mommy and me enrichment activity that we attend every Friday morning.  Tyler loves it!  Susie is still trying to decide.  We got our hands on the music we use for the class and Tyler and Susie have been listening to it constantly.  Susie may seem shy and attached to my hip in class, but at home it is an entirely different story.  Last week we were listening to our CD when Kevin (aka Daddy) came home from work.  Tyler of course wanted to show off his skills to Kevin, so we turned on the music and Kevin pulled out the video camera.  The first couple of songs were pretty successful.  Susie even attempted to follow along.  Then Popcorn Popping came on.  Susie performed her first ever rendition of Popcorn Popping in front of the video camera.  She had never done it before.  And anyone who has kids I'm sure knows that even when a kid is actually good at doing something, they never seem to perform it on cue.  Well, she did.  This video is a repeat of Popcorn Popping taken a few days later.  Sorry about her bare legs!  I totally forgot we had taken her pants off after dinner and decided to leave her undressed until bathtime.  Oh well.  Enjoy!

This is the cutest thing EVER! That is such a fun idea to go to music class like that! The only music Mckay hears is the songs from primary, so we sing those all week. He LOVES to sing. Susie is so cute to do all the actions too!

That is SO cute! I love that Susie can do all the actions. I have started going to a library day every Friday morning, they sing songs and put on a puppet show. Jackson has started doing some hand actions to wheels on the bus because of it.

Is it just me or is that a sign of brilliance? I can't believe someone so tiny can remember all those actions and actually stay focused long enough to do them! Cute family, Amy! (and Kevin :)
