Boxes!

When we made our first big move to California 3 1/2 years ago, we were in search of boxes for moving.  We went to Wal-Mart and inquired about boxes.  The associate we asked was also employed at McDonald's.  He told us that McDonald's in Rexburg saves their Fry Boxes especially for people looking for moving boxes.  We went straight to McDonald's and hit the jackpot!  We ended up with probably 30-40 boxes of the same size (which is great for moving).  We've moved several times since then, but have never been in need of boxes.  We've basically carted our boxes around whenever we've moved.  However, last summer we got rid of all our boxes.  Now that we are moving again, we are empty handed.  So, I called up McDonald's in our little town.  They let us go dig through the cardboard bin behind their store.  This is what we came up with!  We scored huge!  This wasn't even all the boxes--the ones near the bottom were wet and very difficult to reach.  By next week (after a couple more trips to Micky-D's), we should have more than enough boxes.  And if we don't, we can always head back and get some more!  So, here is my tip of the day:  Check out McDonald's if you are looking for moving boxes!
