Easter weekend came only 2 days after our arrival to Utah. We started our Saturday morning with the Orem City Easter Egg Hunt (sponsored by Ken Garff). Lucky for us, Uncle Marc is an employee of Ken Garff and was told to look for the solid colored eggs. These were few and far between and held the prize tickets. Tyler and I scooped up two prize eggs, with much difficulty because all the eggs were gone in about 5 minutes flat. We won a bucket of candy with a small stuffed animal and we also won a bubble blower gun. We didn't win a bike (for Susie), like I hoped. I had to remind myself not to be too disappointed. Later that afternoon we died Easter eggs. I think we let the kids die close to 4 dozen. It all went very quickly because we just kept dropping them in color cups. It was a lot of fun...we just let the kids dip their hands right in, and luckily it all washed out in the end. Tyler received a new scooter for Easter (to help cheer him up--he's been a little down since the move and I don't blame him). His friend count is down to almost zero, and he has to share a room with mom and dad for the next few months. He loves his new scooter, so it was well worth the $21 special at Target. Susie received a very exciting new outfit. After everyone got dressed into their Easter clothes, we held an indoor Easter egg hunt. The kids had a blast! We just kept re-hiding the eggs to keep them entertained. Overall, it was a great Easter!

YOur kids look so adorable! I love Susie's dress! Mckay & Tyler will have to be buddies so that Tyler won't be so sad anymore. That is tuff...poor little guy.
What fun! Susie looks so darn cute with her hair like that and that super cute dress. I love Easter. Welcome welcome!!! We are thrilled to have you guys closer to us. Maybe we can get your grandpa on a plane to come a visit all of us sometime:)
