The kids and I jumped in the car and took a trip to Ogden yesterday to visit Kelley, Mckay, and Kylin. We started the visit out by eating lunch (for free) at the nearby elementary school. The elementary school provides free lunches for children all summer long. Tuesday is Dominoes Pizza day, so the kids each enjoyed a piece of cheese pizza. As a parent I had to buy the lunch if I wanted to eat--which I didn't, and I was forbidden from eating off my children's plates--a rule to help regulate the free lunches. After lunch, and after throwing away half of Tyler's and Susie's food, we headed off to what is called, "South Ogden Nature Park". It wasn't really a nature park...more of a water park. Another free activity (my favorite)...the highlight of the park was the water play area. Water squirted out of the ground and out of numerous sprinklers and toys. The kids were a little apprehensive at first, but ended up really enjoying it. The last hour and half of our trip we went back to Kelley's house so the boys played together. Tyler has not played with a friend so well since our move. They didn't bother us once. To top that off, the baby girls slept, and me and Kelley were really able to enjoy a visit with just each other. It was so much fun. Catching up with old friends is the best. I love having friends who know my past, are concerned about my family, and understand where I'm coming from because the know my upbringing. We will be returning soon!

Great pictures Ames! I hope you are liking that book. Thanks so much for driving down...I know it is a long drive with kiddos. We can't wait to see you again. I am SO GLAD you moved here!
That is really from Kelley. I accidentally logged in as Craig :)
