Yard Work

We try to go outside as much as we possibly can--it helps keep the noise level down inside the house so we don't drive everyone crazy. The kids love it, and they especially love exploring in Grandma and Grandpa's backyard. The yard is perfect for exploring. It is all fenced in, with lots of trees and shrubs. There are enough plants for the kids to feel like they are all by themselves on some adventure, but the yard isn't big enough for them to actually get lost in. All the trees and plants, on the other hand, require a lot of attention and yard work. Grandpa is always doing yard work.

Tonight, Tyler and Susie were "helping" Grandpa water the plants. However, by the end of the task, they started getting silly and enjoyed a few gulps of water straight from the hose.
