Tyler started preschool on Tuesday, the 26th. I registered him for the preschool program that is held at our local elementary school. All summer long, I've had a different plan in mind...he was going to start preschool in January and only go a couple days a week. I had a last minute change of heart and change of mind. Luckily there were still openings in the afternoon class, so we headed over to the elementary school and registered him. However, this preschool class is intense! Because this was not my initial plan, I never prepared myself emotionally for what I have gotten us both into. It is four days a week (half days). He goes during the exact same hours as kindergarten (minus Mondays). All of a sudden, my life as I know it has changed. Tyler is basically in school now. And, he will be in school for a very, very long time. It has left me feeling a little down. My little boy is growing too fast! And, now my life will forever revolve around taking kids to school and dropping them off! I'm used to living by my own schedule!

I can't believe Tyler is starting school. I am sure it was a hard decision, but Mom (and Dad) knows best! What cute photos of Tyler's first day. They are my favorite photos from when I was young.
He looks like such a bog boy! How did it go? Does he like it? Did you cry...I think I might.
