Go Cougs!

Kevin's parents were out of town for the BYU vs. SDSU game today, so we gladly took their tickets off their hands and took the whole gang to the game. The kids were great (especially during the first half--the second half got a little tiresome to them). Susie was very interested in the Cougarettes (aka Dancing Girls), so I decided it would probably make everyone's day if I asked a group of them to take a photo with her. Susie loved the attention from all the cute girls, and the girls loved the attention we were giving to them...definitely a win-win situation. The picture looks a little smoky--can't quite figure out why, but I guess that's only to be expected when we only brought our small, pocket size camera. The kids loved the balloons we picked up from the tail-gating area, and were even willing to release them into the air before the game started (we didn't want to block any fans behind us). The best part of all, we enjoyed gorgeous weather. We all came overdressed (with thermals underneath our clothes). Near the beginning of the game, I took the kids to the bathroom and we all removed the thermals and were able to enjoy the remainder of the game in jeans and long sleeve shirts. We only put on sweatshirts near the end when our seats became shaded. All in all, it was a fun day! Oh ya, the Cougars won easily, which always helps.
