Ouchy!

The kids decided to do "exercise jumping" (according to them) on Monday morning and thought jumping off the couch would be a fun idea. Well, that activity came to an abrupt halt when Susie crumpled over in pain after landing on her foot the wrong way. Way to go, Mom...for watching them so well. But to my defense, I was vacuuming while it was going on. Anyways, we took her to the urgent care later that day where of course they found nothing wrong. They took x-rays which showed nothing. And, ended the visit with an ace bandage wrapped around Susie's ankle. Then, the doctor told me she should be walking in the next 2-3 days. However, they told me, if she isn't walking in a week, bring her back in. We are now on day 5 and Susie still refuses to walk on her right foot. Poor thing. At first I couldn't tell if she was just milking it for the attention, but now I realize her foot really hurts. Hopefully she'll start walking in the next couple of days. If not, I guess we'll be headed back to the urgent care on Monday. Until then, I'll keep carrying her everywhere and she'll continue to crawl and walk on her knees. Lots of fun...
