I Spoke Too Soon

I think yesterday had to be one of the worst days I've ever lived through. It all started at around 1 PM when Susie and I drove to Joann Fabric while Tyler was in school. I was returning a bunch of storage bins and I had to pull a sleeping toddler from the car, so my hands were full. I locked my keys, phone, and purse in the car. I used the phone at Joann Fabric to call Kevin's cell, our house phone, and Mark's cell (my father-in-law). After 20 minutes of calling without any answer, I finally decided to call a locksmith. After being at Joann for an hour and spending $40 that we do not have on a locksmith, I was finally able to get back in my car.

Then, last night, when I didn't think the day could get much worse, I got a stomach ache at around 10. After tossing and turning in bed for a couple hours, I ended up sick and vomiting at 2 in the morning. It was miserable. But, my stomach finally found relief and I was able to sleep until morning. Luckily, I've felt mostly normal today and only threw up the one time. Kevin, unfortunately, got sick this morning and was throwing up instead of going to school. And, because of me last night, he didn't really get a good night's sleep. He still has his 2 tests to take (one on Saturday and one on Tuesday), so hopefully he can get his health back in time to study for them. Unless me or the kids still come down with the horrible cold/flu that Kevin had last week, I'm assuming this should be the last of our illnesses. It has been a miserable week!
