Family Reunion?

So, all my family decided to come visit at the same time and we sort of had our own style of a family reunion (minus my dad, sadly--however we'll be seeing him in a few days!). Everyone attended Alyssa's bridal shower. Tyler and Susie got to swim on Susie's birthday with Aunt Alyssa, Great-Grandma Dena, and Great-Aunt Bev. Susie had quite a few guests at her birthday party. We took my Grandpa Al, his fiance, Grace, and the kiddos to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House. The temple open house was excellent. Despite the long wait in the heat outside, the kids were very well-behaved. It was so much fun to walk through the temple and explain all the different rooms to my grandpa and his fiance (who is Catholic). And, of course, the kids looked cuter than ever! Lastly, we all went out to dinner the last night we saw everyone. We had a table for 10 people reserved. We've definitely been a bit lonely since everyone left us. After we dropped Alyssa off at the airport, Tyler said, "I'm going to miss her for a while Mom." I feel the same way too. I wish we had Alyssa right around the corner. It had been over a year and a half since we last saw her. Hopefully next time comes sooner than that.
