July 31 - August 7, 2010
The first week of August, Kevin snuck away for 7 days to fish in Montana with his dad and uncle. He had a great time! Check out the monster trout Mark caught! Now he gets to claim the biggest fish award.
While Kevin was away...
The kids had their own "campout" in their bedroom every night. We chose not to go camping this year (because of the baby), which made the kids very upset, but sleeping in the tent on their floor helped ease the sadness.
We also filled our week with many activities. We played with friends, got McDonald's ice cream cones and played on the playground, went to Shrek Forever After, went to Farm Country, swam with friends, and the kids went to the park with Grandma and ate shaved ice. I opted to sacrifice good naps from Amyah so we could keep ourselves busy and not get too lonely without our dad. It turned out to be a fun-filled week that actually passed very quickly.

I don't think Tyler and Susie were the only ones sad about not going camping this year! haha.
