I don't know if you remember my post from our Santa Visit in Christmas of 2009. It was a disaster! Such a disaster! So horrible I have really been scarred and had no desire to bring my kids back to Santa again. At least no shopping mall Santa Claus. It was that bad.
This year totally redeemed Santa. We visited Santa while at Disneyland. It was the best visit with Santa ever! We only waited for maybe 10 minutes (remember the lines were short that day...I'm sure the wait would be much longer on a busier day). Before getting in line, we visited the reindeer and Mrs. Claus. Susie actually asked me why she needed to sit on Santa's lap if she had already told Mrs. Claus what she wanted for Christmas. Up until that point, she had never actually sat in Santa's lap. She was feeling a bit anxious.
Santa quickly eased her fears. The magic of Disney was alive in Santa as well. He was so friendly. He talked to the kids about more than just what they wanted for Christmas. And, when he became distracted while talking to Tyler about what he wanted for Christmas, Santa actually told Tyler to start over because he hadn't heard what was said. He actually paid attention to the kids! They felt very special. Then, we got to take all the pictures we wanted. We could use our own camera. And, there was absolutely no rush. At all. We felt very at ease. It was a wonderful visit! I want to visit Santa at Disneyland every year! I don't think any other location will ever top this experience!

That's so cute! All of these posts make me really want to go to Disneyland again. Maybe next year you guys should head to Ohio and then we can swing down and check out the Santa at DisneyWORLD and see if that one compares. ;)
