Most people have not known what me and Kevin have been up to these last few years. Most haven't questioned, except for those close to us.
Kevin has quietly been taking science prerequisites to apply for medical school. It took him two years to finish the classes. Add to that MCAT preparation, and you can imagine it has been a lot of work for him.
Since finishing the MCAT, Kevin has been working, submitting applications, and we've both been stressing about his future. Applications were submitted in June. He received a call last week for an interview. The interview was 2 days ago. This morning his phone rang, and he received a call from the school he interviewed at.
He was accepted!
Kevin is going to be a medical school student in Fall 2012!
Whew! It has been a long time coming. A roller coaster ride with lots of bumps and more twists and drops than I could have ever imagined!
We are so excited! So relieved! Maybe we can actually relax for at least half a year! :)
