Bye Bye Best Buddy!

Susie's best friend, Addison moved to a different neighborhood near a different elementary school and in a different ward for church. They have been instant friends since back-to-school night, so we've been anticipating and dreading her move. Thankfully, Susie is quite the social bug and seems to be thriving without her best friend. She even had another girl in her class come up to her before Addison moved and asked if she would be her best friend next. :) The simpleness of Kindergarten! Susie, being very grown-up and mature, told her new friend she wanted to be friends with everyone and she could be one of her best friends.

Here is the sweet card she wrote to Addison:
I love this picture! Susie, for some weird reason we don't really understand, often draws pictures of the backs of people. So funny! Here is an adorable picture of her and Addison on the swings, their favorite recess activity. Susie drew herself on the red, (handicap?) swing because that's the one she always went on to be next to Addison. That's why there is a red seat back blocking the view of her self-portrait.
