Susie's been saving her money for the past year. This is hard to do without an allowance. The only money she gets comes from gifts or the tooth fairy. She's held out for a Build a Bear. She's been eying them since last September, and finally had enough to buy one (almost). We went to Build a Bear yesterday and "Sparkles" was born! Susie's been playing with her nonstop since. We're hoping her love affair with the bear lasts. She hardly ever touches her dolls, babies or Barbies. Amyah shows much more interest in those toys than Susie ever has, and has taken over many of Susie's. Of course, now Amyah is constantly trying to steal Sparkles as well.
I'd have to admit, Susie's bear is super cute. I especially love the Twinkle Toes and the specks of sparkly purple fur on the bear. I'm hoping Susie really plays with her bear. It would be a lot of fun to buy more clothes and accessories for Sparkles.

This bear totally fits Susie. I also loved her dancing pics. She's such a skinny minny and looks ADORABLE in her little leotard/tutu thing.
Sparkles is a cute little bear! I love all of her dance pictures. I wish we could see her perform live. You can tell from the pictures that she has got spunk and is really good at just going for it.
