In anticipation of our trip to the Grand Canyon and Utah (we were planning on leaving our house on July 18), we decided to celebrate Tyler's 8th birthday on the Sunday before. Tyler waited the entire year to use the "You Are Special Today" plate.
After dinner, we gave Tyler his present. A basketball hoop!
Susie's job was to cover Tyler's eyes while we brought his present in!
It looks like Amyah is more excited than Tyler! Haha! Tyler is great at lackluster reactions. :)

I love Amyah's face in that last picture and the fact that Susie is sitting on a phone book at the table. :) I bet Tyler loves that basketball hoop even if he didn't show it! I can't believe he's 8!
Amyah's huge grin is amazing! Amyah is just outwardly showing with it going on inside Tyler at this moment :)
