Just a short drive from our house (you can see the "mountains" from our backyard) we have a fun place to go hiking. The kids and I have gone up to the top a few times. Kevin, however, had never been with us. It was fun to take him to the top and show him the amazing 360 degree view of our stomping grounds.
Amyah needed plenty of help getting to the top, but she had a lot of fun. A couple weeks after going to the top with our family, she and I went to a playgroup at the same place. We only hiked a short little loop with the playgroup. She did not think it was even worth calling a hike! She insisted that we needed to hike more because the short loop was not sufficient.

The new Phoenix temple, currently under construction. Can't wait until it is finished! It is in our stake boundaries and less than 10 minutes from our house!
