We decided to try out Sally Hansen's Real Nail Polish Strips. I bought the box for $7.50 and shared all the leftover pieces with my girls. For $2.50 a piece, it seemed like a decent price to pay for a manicure. They lasted for about a week until they started nicking and peeling up at the edges. That seemed pretty good to me! Especially on little girl fingers.
