Easter...one week late.

It seems like our family celebrates every holiday late. Last year we waited until after Susie was born to take Tyler to the zoo for his 2nd birthday. Santa Claus came quite a few times this last Christmas. And, because of unforseen events (a funeral for my grandma that I attended in NY), we missed out on our Easter celebration last Sunday. So, we decided to pretend it was Easter this Sunday. Tyler added more cars to his Disney Cars memorabilia collection.

He is now the proud owner of 4 different sizes and styles of both Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater, as well as many of the other characters from the movie.Truthfully, we didn't actually buy Susie this extremely large and fluffy sheep. It was actually a shower gift that was packed away and forgotten during our move.
It is very difficult to persuade both children to smile and look at the camera at the exact same moment! This was the best we could do.

We even had a special Easter Dinner complete with "pear bunnies".
Tyler was too scared to try it. He took one (forced) bite of the green jello and wouldn't eat anything more. Atleast he thought it looked cool!

Happy late Easter!

Tyler and Susie's easter clothes are adorable! They both look so cute. It sounds like grandpa mark can't just ask for small, medium, and large in the cars collection ...with a 4th size?! Crazy. Looks like he is in Cars Heaven! :) Also, the suffed lamb was too cute. I love how large and fluffy it is. Looks like things are going great for you guys! Sure do miss you guys!
