Close to our home is an awesome pool that has a sandy beach entrance. A wall separates the pool from a water resevoir, so the scenery is also amazing. You could almost be fooled into thinking the pool was just part of the lake if you were to only glance at it. But, it really is just a pool. Tyler had lots of fun playing in the sand.

Susie, on the other hand, was actually pretty grumpy. She wanted nothing to do with the water. I don't blame her. The weather wasn't hot enough for the frigid water. And, she was very unsure about the sand. I think her disposition came mainly from her two top teeth that are trying to break through the skin. Her poor gums are pushed down so low and are very swollen. It's funny--I never understood the woes of teething with Tyler. He was never affected by it. This baby, on the other hand, is obviously miserable. Anyways, like always, she put on a huge grin for the camera when I pulled it out.
The day was very exhausting for both kids. Tyler fell asleep on the way home and continued to sleep when we got home. He never stays asleep when we move him out of the car during naptime. What a fun day!

Sounds like you had a great day at the beach/pool. Susie's suit was so cute... do they make them in larger sizes? Now that school is out, I can't wait to start swimming this summer... just have to be patient for the weather to improve.
I love susie's swimming suit! Tyler looks like he loved the sand...I guess he always has. What a fun pool and looks like great weather.
Looks like fun. It sounds like your weather is cool up there ??? Wow, we are having record heat in phoenix right now. We could give you 10 degrees and it would still be about 105 to 107 here...want some? In fact, if you really do, my clubhouse has a beach pool, regular swimming pool, hot tub, and lots of other things if you ever want to visit. Tell Tyler not to sleep too much though, otherwise he might turn into Craig.
Hi Amy, It's been awhile since I visited your blog. I love your new layout, love Michale Buble's new song and your kids are darling. I did not know you lived in San Francisco. For some reason I thought you were on the east coast. I lived in San Fran for 4 years while my husband was in Dental School. I love that place. Hope things are good with your family and I look forward to meeting you someday.
Long lost cousin Michelle

AMY--i love your hair!!! It's so cute. I've been growning my hair out but seeing yours makes me want to cut mine now. I love susie's swimsuit! I want it for myself! I can't wait to see you guys in a couple weeks!!
Not gonna lie...i love your music videos but i'm still waiting for a miley cyrus/hannah montana song :)
There is something magic about water. I love water. I'll bet by the end of summer she will be loving it too. How great to have them sleep so deep.
In response to your comment about Jackson...he is doing really well. I got a high fever the saturday, after it happened, so we took him to the doctor. They thought he had strep, but when they did the test it came out negative, so he just had a bad sore throat. Poor guy. He was a little loopy while he was on Loratab (after the surgery). But now he is doing really well. Plus he has been taking awesome naps and sleeping in every morning, so I can't complain.
That is a really cool pool. If you had not said anything I would think you were at a real beach. Looks fun! Susie is cute in her little bathing suit!
