These past couple of weeks in our house have been very unexciting. The two families that we usually play with during the daytime have been vacationing, so we have been stuck at home with nothing to do. And, because we have been blessed with such great friends, Tyler has learned to depend on those friends for entertainment when we are outside. So, we really have stayed in the house--where he still knows how to play independently--for the past two weeks. Of course, I have run lots of errands (to get us out of the house) and have been able to keep the house very clean. I've thought that maybe I should stop doing so much with friends and get a little more done around the house. But, that would just make our lives boring, so as soon as they are back, we will continue with our fun! In the meantime, here are some pictures of a typical day at our house...
Susie has discovered the true purpose of her walker, and has begun to trample all over our house! We are hoping she is walking within the next month. We are constantly practicing standing and balancing with her. We'll see if our practice yields any results. The more mobile she becomes, the less clingy she is to me. So, with that in mind, we are hoping walking will push her into independence even more.
Tyler thinks he is very funny and constantly mimicking everyone around him, especially his dad. The other day I found him laying like this on the couch. He told me that he was sitting how dad sits. He was trying to sit on the couch like Kevin does with his feet resting on the coffee table. I thought it was pretty clever.

These are great pictures! How funny that Tyler tries to copy Kevin and the way he sits. I love how susies leg is up on the bumper pad. I find Jackson in some of the strangest positions for sleeping. Hopefully, all your friends get home from vacations soon, it sounds like you guys have so much fun with them.
your kids are so cute. Tyler seems like quite the character!! I'm sure he keeps you on your toes. I love the picture of susie sleeping. how cute is that?
I still can't get over how old Tyler is. Your 2 kids are so adorable. It is always nice to have relaxing days where there is low stress. I am excited to see you and your family again here in a few weeks at the wedding and Craig's talk.
