Happy Independence Day!

We celebrated the Fourth of July by attending a ward breakfast, playing at the park, swimming in the afternoon, barbecuing hamburgers and hot dogs for dinner, and letting the kids stay up late to watch the fireworks. Oh ya, and we all wore our red, white, and pink tie-dye shirts. Despite the horrible color, I have to admit we all looked pretty cute in our matching shirts--especially at the breakfast. It was well worth letting the kids stay up until 10 at night, because they loved the fireworks! It was so much fun to watch them play with sparklers and to see their reaction to our fireworks show. The $15 box of fireworks Grandma and Grandpa bought from Wal-Mart was well worth it! Even though the fireworks were very mild and border-line lame, the kids absolutely loved them!
