I have been working on stockings recently. We've been married 6 1/2 years, and haven't had stockings the entire time. Tyler and Susie have never, ever had stockings. I decided it was time to finally just do it. Tyler's was first (and isn't quite finished--it still needs to be binded on top). It has been quite a project, mostly because I am making it up as I go along. Every step seems to bring on some type of trouble, and I've had to redo and redo again many different parts. I'm pretty happy with the results, considering the trouble I've been through. However, I'm hoping the rest go much more smoothly than Tyler's stocking. I'm afraid I may always have a love/hate relationship with his. Check out below for a sneak peak of the fabrics I just bought for Susie's stocking. I'm super excited!

Those fabrics are darling! I've always wanted to make my own stockings, but never thought I had the patience...I'm not the best w/a sewing machine. But Tyler's looks great, way to go!
I am way impressed. Jon and I have been married for almost 11 years now and we still dont have stockings. I keep saying that I am going to make them each year, but it never happens. So I think this year I might have to just buy some. We will see.

Way to go Amy! I love Tyler's Stocking. I need to hurry and get mine done in time for Christmas...ahhh! It's coming so fast! Looks like you had a fun time at the Basketball game. Poor Susie, but still sounds like it all turned out alright. I hope you guys are all starting to get better.
