What a Night...

Last Friday, me, Kevin, Brittney (Ryan's fiance--he had class), and the kids went to the BYU basketball game. It was a lot of fun. The kids loved all the cheering, the dancing, Cosmo the Cougar...pretty much the entire atmosphere. Tyler has especially enjoyed these sporting events. Well, at least the first half anyways. By the second half, he was soooo tired. I guess that's what happens when you stay up too late! Right before we left we let each kid have a Capri Sun 100% apple juice. They both downed them in probably less than a minute. Now you need to realize Susie hardly ever drinks pure juice. It is always watered down. We left the game 5 minutes early, changed into PJs, and hopped into the car. Two minutes later we hear the lovely sound of little Susie throwing up in the back of the car. Disgusting! We stopped at a gas station, took off her top layer of PJs (she had on 2 pairs), removed her carseat and threw it into the back, and just buckled her into the back seat. Not safe, I know, but what could we do? The poor thing fell asleep on the way home, and was leaning all over the place. It was quite a site. Between her sprained ankle (which is finally healing), an oncoming cold, and throwing up, she had quite a night!
