Alright, I swear my kids are not behaviorally challenged, but here is another attempt at behavior management in our house. This only came about because we walked into Target the other day so Tyler could buy 1 car with his 3 dollars and 42 pennies. It is always exciting walking to the Disney Cars section, because you never know what you will find--maybe nothing new, maybe something new. Buying Disney Cars is all about spontaneity...when you find something good, you really should buy it (if you are a collector) because more than likely you will never see it on the shelf again. We found 8 awesome cars we wanted to add to our collection, but there is no way I was about to spend $24 on my kids for no reason whatsoever (especially in our very tight budget situation). So, I decided to buy them, but make the kids "earn" the cars. Tyler loved the idea, and before we even created these charts, he was already hopping out of his bed and making it first thing in the morning. Basically, each kid has to follow their own rules for a total of 7 days to earn a car (if they mess up a day, we'll just start counting again the next day). We'll see how it works...when we run out of cars, I might start purchasing cheaper $1 items or candy bars instead if the whole process seems to run smoothly.

I am totally loving this! I think I might steal this idea. Jackson would love this!
