Congratulations Ryan and Brittney!

On May 2nd, we enjoyed a full day of wedding festivities. We woke up to very rainy weather, and of course felt very rushed trying to get out the door by 11. I don't know why it always seems so hectic to be ready by that late in the morning. We arrived at the beautiful Salt Lake Temple (the grounds were landscaped with my favorite spring flowers--tulips!) at about a quarter after noon, with plenty of time to spare for the one o'clock ceremony. We left Tyler and Susie in the marriage waiting room with Aunt Rachael and Kevin's cousin, Stephanie. The kids were angels while we attended the sealing. When we walked outside after the ceremony, the rain had stopped (just in time for pictures!). And of course, started to rain again, just in time for Ryan and Brittney to take pictures with only the two of them. All in all, the day was fabulous. The rain really didn't seem to be much of a bother. The kids were great--and looked adorable too. And, Brittney looked so gorgeous! I am so happy and excited for the newlyweds!
