Pioneer Day at the Canyon

The day after Pioneer Day (in keeping with our tradition for 3 years running now), we packed a picnic lunch and headed up the canyon to escape our cell phones and laptops for the evening. Like always, the kids loved eating outside and throwing rocks--or should I say boulders?--into the river.
