2009 Christmas Card

Almost 2 years have past since we made Utah our home.
We’ve tried to condense our lives into a little Christmas poem.

Kevin started school in May of 2008.
With only one semester of classes left, we soon will celebrate!
He recently snagged a (hopefully) temporary job at the Apple store,
When school is done, he’ll apply for some more.

Amy stays at home with the kids, and her jobs always seem to cross—
Chef, chauffer, entertainer, maid, or just simply “the boss.”
We think, however, the most exciting news you might like to hear:
We are expecting a baby, due June 1st of next year!

Tyler is 5. He’s our kindergarten stud.
He’s reading, a math whiz, and an overall social-bug.
He loves to swim, sing, and play soccer—especially when he scores a goal.
He has become quite the jokester. With him the moments are never dull.

Susie is 3½ going on 16…need we say more?
She loves princesses, dress-ups, and baby dolls galore.
One important thing to note is Susie’s knack for art—
(Her drawings and colorings are quite impressive.)
We, of course, think she is incredibly smart!

It is time to contemplate, with the approaching holiday season,
Our Savior, Jesus Christ, who is the very reason
We celebrate this day, and we would like to wish
Everyone we love a Merry Christmas!

Christmas 2009
