Alright, here you go...the much anticipated prego picture of me. 20 weeks, 4 days (4 1/2 months). Half way there!
How I am feeling right now...
- Mostly over any nausea (every once in a while a huge urge to throw up still comes...but only the urge).
- Strained belly. My doctor actually diagnosed it this time around. Round Ligament Pain. I know every girl has something she struggles with when she is pregnant, but man...my belly always feels sore and very tender to touch! I hate this feeling. And, I know this is only the beginning. It will just get worse as the pregnancy gets further along. Unfortunately, I have come up with no solutions to remedy the pain. Any suggestions? Anyone else know what I am complaining about?
- Tired. I feel like a toddler sometimes. I have to force myself to take a nap or I will not be able to tolerate the entire day. Naps have started to feel more like a chore that I must accomplish each day. My kids no longer nap. Instead, I feel like I have to plan my day around me needing a nap. Maybe it's just practice for the future baby...
- Baby taps. I swear this baby doesn't kick nearly as hard as Susie did when she was in my tummy. I'm hoping this is a good sign and this baby isn't quite as feisty as #2 was/is! I really remember Susie kicking the ultrasound tech's wand surprisingly hard when she was performing my 18 week ultrasound. The tech was even impressed. I am just starting to really notice movement without concentrating on it.
- Excited! I am so excited to have a baby girl. I love Tyler. He is so mild and soft spoken (most of the time). He was such an easy baby. Susie has always been a bit more full of spunk and drama. However, Susie is also the most lovable thing. She hugs and kisses me on demand. She is innately sweet. Tyler, on the other hand, gave up kisses a long time ago and claims he will only give me a kiss when it is his birthday. There are also so many fun things about girls. Dresses, ribbons, and ruffles. Plus, I cannot wait to pierce my new baby's ears! When it came down to it, I really wanted a girl. Susie has only boy cousins, and we desperately needed to add another girl to the mix. As my ultrasound approached, I was pretty sure it was a girl. And it was! So far, I have guessed 3 out of 3 correctly! Man, I'm good. And, I have a really good feeling about this baby. Maybe it's the soft kicks, but I think she's going to be a mild baby #3 for me. Let's cross our fingers! You can call me out on my wrong prediction in about 5-6 months when her personality really starts to become apparent.

I'm so glad you're feeling relatively good and excited!! You're darling, as always. Hope all continues to go well.
Half way there?! Are you kidding me!? You are so tiny! I wonder what you will look like at 9 months!
