It took multiple holes throughout our duvet cover and a huge rip (going two different directions) in our sheets--that just kept growing every night--to finally convince me to splurge and buy some new bedding. I did use Christmas money, so it's basically a Christmas gift to myself. I really love looking at my bed right now. And, it's even enjoyable to make my bed! I'm sure that will wear off soon.
