- 7 lb, 1 oz; 19 3/4 inches at 2 week appointment (50% in all areas on preemie chart)
- 20 days old (she has been home just as many days as she was in the NICU!)
- Eats 3 ounces (90ml) of formula every 4 hours; finishes a bottle in less than 15 minutes
- Not too much spit-up yet...we're hoping this doesn't increase
- Very good sleeper, I almost always have to wake her at the 4 hour mark...we're hoping this doesn't wear off as she gets older
- Usually goes for 5 hour stretches in the middle of the night (but takes about 20 minutes after she is done eating to settle down and go back to sleep); I often have to wake her in the morning so she doesn't go too long without food
- Very loud burps...2 very different and distinct burps each time
- Lots of dark hair with a swirly cowlick right smack dab in the middle of her forehead
- Mostly calm and happy :)
- When she is fussy, sucking on her pacifier for a minute or so usually does the trick
- Actually cries herself to sleep in her crib in less than 60 seconds if she is having a hard time settling down in my arms
- Absolutely the cutest thing ever! We love our baby so much. So far, she seems to be the easiest thing we could have ever been blessed with.
- The hardest part? We don't want to take her anywhere and compromise her immune system (she is a preemie after all). I feel somewhat restless.
