The weather so far this winter has been strange. Not typical of the area. We enjoyed warm days into the first couple week of November. Of course, cold days were also present, but we kept going to the park well into November. Even in December, the week or so before Christmas, temperatures were as high as 50 degrees. Finally, the Tuesday before Christmas, a good amount of snow fell and stuck. The kids had a blast playing in the snow! They hiked to the top by themselves, went down without help, and even created some of their own sledding paths in the snow. I brought my camera out in attempt to take a bunch of cute photos of the kids sledding. Instead, I hardly had a moment to shoot a cute smiley kid riding smoothly riding down a snowy hill. Their sleds were flying in the air and throwing them off. I decided I'd better take advantage of the situation and try to get shots of them falling off instead. This was a better document of the fun anyways. I love the courage Tyler and Susie have slowly embraced as they've gotten older.
