Watching Susie's team play has been so much fun. She has the same coach as Tyler because they have children in both age groups. They pretty much play "magnet ball" instead of soccer at the age. They all stay as closely to the ball as possible. Susie made a few goals by the end of the season. She was so excited! There are a couple really good players on her team which helped the Lions win most of their games. There is another child on the team who spontaneously throughout the game would lose focus on the ball and start doing Jedi moves out on the field. I'm pretty sure Susie even exited the field at one point to give me a hug and kiss during one of her games. :) Can't wait to see the team play together again in the Spring!

Soccer has taken on a whole new meaning for Tyler's age group. The kids are getting competitive and actually using strategy. Tyler's team was pretty average. The Wolves win some and they lose some. I'm a fan of average. The kids had enough wins during the season to feel good about themselves. But, they also really worked hard and started to learn strategy when they played the more difficult teams. Tyler was not quite as dominant in scoring this season. I'm sure it has something to do with all the kids getting better (and most of the kids who lacked interest dropping out by this age). He, however, continues to love soccer. We love our team, our coach, and the friends we've made through the entire experience.

First of all, what is a jedi move exactly? i mean I know what a ninja move is etc...just not sure what jedi moves are...does he pretend to swing a lightsaber? Just wondering....
I can't believe Susie is old to enough to play soccer. I had to think for a minute because I keep thinking that Adrian just started, but he started last year! Ah! Time flies!
What cuties you have!
