Happy Mother's Day to Me! A Mommy of 3!

Mother's Day was fabulous this year! I started celebrating on Friday with a Mother's Day picnic at Susie's preschool. They sang a couple songs and presented the moms with a "Book of Remembrance" and a paper flower, scented corsage. Susie talked non-stop about the picnic for the two weeks leading up to it. She was so excited to bring me to preschool and share her gifts with me.

I had a very pleasant, relaxing Mother's Day on Sunday. I really wanted to snap a few photos of me with my cute kiddos. This was the best we could do... Trying to keep a baby entertained during photos really limits your options.
Before I opened gifts, the kids sang a cute song they learned at church in primary...

Good thing I asked Tyler and Susie to sing to me on Sunday morning. The primary didn't even sing during Sacrament meeting! Their song at church is always my favorite part of Mother's Day. What a bummer!

I received a butterfly necklace from Susie (she made it in preschool) and a card from Tyler. The kids also gave me a new shirt and sweater...
...and some yummy Grater's Raspberry Chocolate Chip ice cream!
I love my kids! I love being a mommy! It is a lot of work. It can be very tiring. More difficult than I ever imagined. But, the joy and happiness my cute kids bring to my life makes all the hard parts completely and totally worth it! I feel so lucky to be a mom!
