With the help of my Grandpa Al's recipe, I cooked spaetzle! It's a yummy German noodle that we love smothered in gravy. They are similar to dumplings--you drop the batter (through a spaetzle maker) into boiling water and the results are delicious!
I also made a couple of apple pies! One is still sitting in our freezer waiting for the perfect moment to pull it out and bake it!
