November 19-25, 2012
We made the quick (about 4 1/2 hour) and mostly painless drive to Hemet for the week of Thanksgiving. Kevin was on break because his 1st quarter had ended (which was AMAZING). We spent the holiday with Kevin's grandparents, parents, Craig, and Rachael (+Jonathan and Lynnlee). It was a lot of fun to spend the week with Kevin's family.
Things we did in Hemet:
- Played in the fountains
- Rode bikes
- Played with all of Great-Grandma's toys and created mess after mess
- Ate lots of candy (each person even brought home a quart-size Ziploc of candy...Kevin brought home a gallon Ziploc)
- Played with Lynnlee
- Ate lots and lots and lots of food
- Visited with Kevin's immediate family and other extended family also living in Hemet
- Watched a some favorite old movies -- Roman Holiday and White Christmas
