December 24, 2012
Christmas 2012 was a very busy, family-filled event! Alyssa came into town on the 19th. Kevin's parents (Grandpa Mark and Grandma Janae) drove into town on the 23rd. And my Grandma Dena and Grandpa Les showed up on Christmas Eve morning. We live in a very small house (3 bedrooms and maybe 1400 square feet--we are on a medical student budget...). We had people on air mattresses and grandparents sleeping in their motor home. But it was so fun to have such a big crowd of people gathered to celebrate Christmas and spend time together as a family.
The kids wrote the letters to Santa early in the evening before the festivities began.
Me and my sister! Love her!

Tyler played Silent Night on his recorder for his talent. He also sang a song from chorus--"The Little Snowflake"--dance moves included.
Susie sang all 5 verses of The Nativity Song from the LDS Children's Songbook. She worked really hard to memorize all those words. So sweet!
I hadn't planned a talent for Amyah. But she really wanted to share something. She decided to perform "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes."
