11 weeks old and growing!

Amyah

Here she is wearing the same outfit when she was only 20 days old.
  • 11 lb, 10 oz; 22 1/2 inches at 2 month appointment (90% in all areas on preemie chart--wow!)
  • 11 weeks (2 1/2 months) old
  • Eats 5 ounces (150ml) of formula every 4 hours; takes 30 minutes to finish a bottle.
  • Still not too much spit-up!
  • Very good sleeper. Her morning and afternoon nap are always atleast 3 hours long (sometimes she'll sleep as long as 5 hours!). Yay!
  • Usually goes for 8 hour stretches at night (11 pm - 7 am!)
  • Very loud burps...2 very different and distinct burps each time
  • She's losing her hair! It may have stopped falling out at such a fast rate. Maybe she'll stop losing it. Who knows...
  • Mostly calm and happy :)
  • Hardly ever takes a pacifier. Uses her thumb and index finger to soothe herself in bed.
  • So smiley! Especially if you rub her cute double chin. And, she loves to coo at us too!
  • So easy and happy! I keep telling Tyler and Susie how lucky they are to have such a good baby sister. I have plenty of time each day to focus my attention on my two oldest kids.
  • When I do get to take care of her, it is actually relaxing. I finally have a moment when I have to sit down and relax...a moment when I have a good excuse to take a break from my busy mommy life.
In my opinion, having a 3rd child has been easier than #1 or #2. It probably has a lot to do with how good of a baby she is. It also probably has a lot to do with the age of Tyler and Susie. They play with each other and require little attention on most days. It's amazing to think of how stressed I was when Tyler was a baby. This time around, Amyah is probably one of the least stressful, most enjoyable parts of my life. We love her so much!

What a cutie!! I agree, #3 was much easier than #1 or #2. And yes, it might have something to do with having a such a good baby. :) Nora was such a good sleeper too and I think sucking the thumb makes such a huge difference! I am so happy for you!
