Ensign Peak

Ryan and Brittney invited us to hike Ensign Peak on a warm Saturday evening. We were a bit hesitant to go. It was all very last minute for us (we didn't realize we were also invited when Kevin's parents were telling us about it earlier in the day), Amyah was ready to go to bed for the night before we even headed out, and it was also the kids' bedtime by the time we left. I really wasn't in the mood for a hike and was, instead, very much in the mood for a night of relaxation.

I was slightly guilted into the event, but I'm so glad we decided to go! The hike was short and very do-able. The kids had a great time. The weather was perfect (warm, but shady because the sun had already gone down). The view was phenomenal. And, Amyah was an angel. :)

It was a fun little hike and I highly recommend anyone who lives in the Salt Lake area to go on it.
