We've been anticipating this day for so many years! It was exciting when it actually came! Kevin is now an official medical student at Midwestern University! Yay! And, I'm happy to report (I'm writing this post a month into school) school has gone really well for all of us. Kevin's been studying hard, but we've also been able to spend a couple hours with him every night. He comes home every night to eat dinner with us and spend time with me and the kids. He also comes home every day for lunch and hangs out with me and Amyah. It is nice living only 5 minutes away from school.
Staying in Arizona and being accepted to Midwestern was truly the Lord's work. Miracles happened and coincidences (that really weren't coincidences) occurred that made it possible for us to stay here. We feel so fortunate that we did not have to deal with moving our belongings, our lives, and our kids across the country. Being a medical student is a huge adjustment in itself. We are lucky that we did not have to make any more adjustments. Mine and the kids' lives have pretty much gone unchanged.

Amyah started saying "cheese" and squinting her eyes. She insisted on having her own photo taken as well. :)
